The CAP 2 Strategic Finance & Management Accounting and Financial Reporting Interim Assessments will take place on Saturday 18th January 2014. They will be held in six centres throughout the country: Belfast, Cork, Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Waterford. The SFMA Pre-seen case study has been published on the student portal. Students are reminded to regularly check the student portal for further details on the assessments.

A new Attendance Monitoring app for iPhone/iPad and android will be launched in January 2014. We are sure that you will find the newly enhanced app more user-friendly.  Students are required to enter their Student ID and password only once. Subsequently, the app will automatically recognise them entering and leaving the venue and logs their attendance at lectures. The HTML version will still be available for use on laptops and on dedicated PCS in CA House Dublin and Belfast, however we strongly recommend use of the new streamlined app.

This year’s CASSI Conference which was held in the Hilton hotel Dublin last week saw record attendance. The keynote speaker was Minister for Social Protection Joan Burton FCA, as well as Institute President, Brendan Lenihan FCA, magician James Freedman and others.
